INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Partner to Launch Exciting New Trading Card Series in 2024

As the 2024 INDYCAR season approaches, fans of the open-wheel racing circuit have something extra to look forward to—a brand-new series of trading cards, thanks to a three-year partnership with Parkside Cards. Set to launch on March 1, the collaboration promises to bring fans closer to the action with a variety of collectibles, contests, and giveaways, enhancing the race weekend experience.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be accessible to fans at race events, in retail stores, and online, with the company planning to engage fans through various initiatives. Highlights include redemption cards for signed memorabilia and a contest offering a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500.

Parkside, known for its card collections for the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding its portfolio with this motorsport partnership. INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, contain 20 packs with eight cards each, ensuring two autographed cards per box. Additionally, retail hanger packs feature 25 cards, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

A unique offering within the collection are relic cards containing actual brick pieces from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, adding a tangible piece of racing history to fans’ collections. The base set spans 162 cards, complemented by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set among other thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. Autographs from 27 different drivers are available, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels enhancing the collectibility of the series.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the importance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with the sport’s stars. He anticipates that the new INDYCAR card series will offer fans a dynamic way to engage with the sport’s personalities and talents.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes are already underway, with the racing season set to kick off in St. Petersburg, FL, on March 10. This new venture between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks an exciting development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike, promising a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing.
