Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has launched an exciting new program called ‘The Ten’. This initiative aims to highlight and reward collectors for discovering the top 10 sports cards in the market. Taking inspiration from lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ features a dynamic selection of 10 cards spanning all sports. Collectors who manage to pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be awarded $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ will have a monthly rotation of cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Examples of these cards include the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes a mix of legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse portfolio showcases cards from various brands, including Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal to enhance the collecting experience and give back to collectors and the hobby. By involving the Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community in the monthly card selections, ‘The Ten’ fosters community engagement and allows collectors to have a say in the process.

Beyond rewarding collectors, ‘The Ten’ also aims to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. It provides dealers and collectors with a platform to showcase these special cards, creating excitement and sparking discussions within the community.

To celebrate major discoveries and announce upcoming cards, Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding to the overall narrative and storytelling aspect of the program.

In addition, ‘The Ten’ program may feature guest athletes and offer additional prizes to further engage collectors and amplify the excitement. By focusing on the stories behind the collectors and their card finds, Fanatics Live offers a unique and personal touch to the program. Since its debut, Fanatics Live has seen consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes, highlighting its emergence as a community-focused platform. James Kollar is excited about the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on the Fanatics brand and the collector community.

‘The Ten’ program by Fanatics Live is set to revolutionize how collectors are rewarded and celebrated in the sports card industry. By providing a platform for collectors to discover rare and sought-after cards, promoting community engagement, and offering unique storytelling, Fanatics is strengthening its position as a leading force in the hobby. So, keep an eye out for ‘The Ten’ and join in on the excitement of the chase for top sports cards!
