Among the remarkable highlights are a mint-condition 1952 Topps Jackie Robinson card, a gem-mint Michael Jordan Fleer rookie card, and a pristine chrome rookie card autographed by a young Bryce Harper. The auction also features sealed packs, boxes, and cases that hold the promise of uncovering hidden treasures. From signed Shohei Ohtani cards to top-tier Ty Cobb tobacco cards, the auction is brimming with Hall of Fame caliber items that are sure to excite avid collectors.

One standout feature of the auction is a unique collection of 1959 baseball cards that were once stapled to containers of Canadian cookies. These rare cards, with only 69 in the PSA population report, include 37 cards featuring legends such as Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Yogi Berra. The cards, produced by Exhibits Supply Company for Dad’s Cookies promotion, hold a special place in the history of sports memorabilia.

The auction also shines a spotlight on two highly sought-after Ty Cobb T206 cards from the early 1900s. The El Principe de Gales Ty Cobb card, graded PSA NM 7, and the American Beauty Portrait-Red Cobb card, graded PSA EX-MT 6, are prized possessions for collectors seeking rare and exceptional pieces.

For nostalgia seekers, the auction offers a variety of sealed boxes and cases that harken back to different eras of sports card collecting. From a 1970 Topps Baseball Wax Box with unopened packs potentially containing legendary players to newer cases like the 2015 Upper Deck Hockey Series 1 and the 2020 Panini Flawless Football, there’s something to pique the interest of every collector.

Heritage Auctions’ Summer Sports Card Catalog Auction is set to be an unforgettable event, providing a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to acquire some of the rarest and most valuable baseball cards in existence.
